Thumbs up Factory Sub speaker in between rear seats

Well some of you know that there is a speaker that goes on the back of the preludes, and its located in between the back seats and it is a 6X9 subwoofer that comes from the factory. Now ive been trying to figure out why it doesnt work and alot of people have the same problem well i started trouble shooting it this week and i got mine working on my new 93 prelude vtec, it is actually wired to the power antenna signal wire wich means if you install an aftermarket radio on your lude it will no longer work if you play a cd.

so my solution to this problem is as follows:

http://img197.imageshack.us/img197/4493/rearwoofer.jpg

wire up an aftermarket radio with an amp signal wire,
Run a wire from that wire to the little amp located right below the
6X9 sub, and connect it to the #85 yellow White wire,
But YOu must cut the wire at least 1 inch before it reaches the amp!!!
because then your antenna will be going up everytime you listen to a cd,
so cut that signal wire going to the amp and just hook up your Own signal
amp wire coming from an aftermarket unit and your ready to go!

i have an Alpine type s 6X9 on there now with alpine type s 6/12's all the way around with an alpine head unit and it sounds incredible!

Remember the 6X9 gets powered by the little factory amplifier

This are some pictures of what the center speaker looks like
ill post one of mine when i get a chance,
